Lazytrains at Half Note Jazz Club
“You can look outside your life, like a train, and see where you’re going, but you can’t stop the train.” — Philip Larkin
Lazytrains don’t want to stop the train — and they return to Half Note Jazz Club on Wednesday, February 4, to present, in a pre-release evening, their new album “Evil Business”, four years after the presentation of their first album.
The concert will feature songs from their many years in the music scene, along with selected covers, in a set that marries the character of blues with the groove of jazz and funk. Lazytrains transport the blues/jazz/funk tones of yesterday to today, using modern electric sound and a stage energy that has distinguished them.
In 2023 they represented Greece at the 10th European Blues Challenge in Malmö, Sweden, an institution of the European Blues Union with the participation of countries from all over Europe.
Music from the broad Blues family, on a unique evening, on Wednesday, February 4th at the Half Note Jazz Club — and as it was once said with humor: “Anyone who disagrees can get off the train.”
